The non profit organisation Eurafrican-Alliance was founded on 15.02.2020. We are a German association that promotes non-profit projects in Africa. Our goal is to provide food and work security, thereby enabling education.<\/span><\/p>

Africa is not only Europe's neighbouring continent, but also the world region with the strongest population growth. While 1.3 billion people live on the continent today, according to the Berlin Institute for Population and Development, this figure will rise to 2.5 billion by 2050\u00a0<\/span>The rapid increase in population exacerbates the already many challenges in African countries. As the most populous country in Africa, Nigeria has the opportunity to lift millions of people out of poverty, as India did in its time. (2017 - 2021 India reduced the poverty rate from 60% to 17.7%. Eurafrican-Alliance is engaged in analysing the problem. In various events such as podium discussions and webinars with experts, participants gain an understanding of the background to Africa's situation. <\/span>Furthermore, we want to offer solutions for possible problems of the African economic sector.<\/span><\/p>

We look for and promote sustainable and innovative projects that create long-term jobs in communities and help to remedy infrastructural deficiencies such as electricity or water.<\/span><\/p>

Our vision as an organisation is to support independent African states to no longer be dependent on external aid, but to be able to act as equal partners in the global construct. Furthermore, we want to create a foundation of friendship, cohesion and acceptance for future generations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Afrika ist nicht nur Europas Nachbarkontinent, sondern auch die Weltregion mit dem st\u00e4rksten Bev\u00f6lkerungswachstum. W\u00e4hrend heute 1,3 Milliarden Menschen auf dem Kontinent leben, werden es laut dem Berliner Institut f\u00fcr Bev\u00f6lkerung und Entwicklung 2050 schon 2,5 Milliarden.\u00a0Der rasche Zuwachs an Einwohnern versch\u00e4rft die ohnehin schon prik\u00e4re Lage in den afrikanischen Staaten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Vielerorts w\u00e4chst die Wirtschaft dynamisch \u2013 doch nicht stark genug, um mit dem schnellen Wachstum <\/span>der Bev\u00f6lkerung mitzuhalten. <\/span><\/p>

Insecure employment with low wages is common. High unemployment is the order of the day in Africa, especially among young adults (unemployment of young adults 53.3% Nigeria), this hopelessness leads to waves of refugees to Europe.<\/span><\/p>

Municipal waste is generated due to high population density and non-existent waste management. Often, the waste ends up at the roadside, in rivers and in uncontrolled landfills, or it is improperly burned in backyards. Bad air, polluted water and contaminated soil are the result.<\/span><\/p>

The African continent bears more than 22% of the global burden of disease, but has only 3% of the world's doctors and health workers and less than 1% of the world's financial resources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

In the sixties, free health care was still a fundamental right and the public health system was supposed to be financed one hundred percent by taxes. This quickly proved to be an illusion. The international debt crisis in the eighties had a drastic impact on health budgets in national budgets. In response to this situation, direct cash payment of patients on the spot and at the time of using medical services was introduced. The cost of treating diseases such as an appendicitis tumour or appendicitis infection is far above the average salary and is equivalent to at least 3-4 months' salary. Without job security and fair pay, these things are not possible. This explains why the mortality rate is highest in Africa.<\/span><\/p>
