The acceptance of contributions, gifts or grants is at the discretion of the Eurafrican Alliance.
The Eurafrican Alliance will not accept gifts unless they can be used or spent in accordance with the purpose and mission of the Eurafrican Alliance.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or for life, will be accepted if, under reasonable circumstances, the gift would jeopardise the financial security of the donor.
The Eurafrican Alliance will not provide advice on the taxation or other treatment of gifts and encourages donors to seek advice from their own professional advisers to assist them in making their gift.
The Eurafrican Alliance accepts cash donations or publicly traded securities. In-kind donations are accepted at the discretion of the Eurafrican Alliance.
Certain gifts such as real estate, personal property, gifts-in-kind, non-liquid securities and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some way must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to Eurafrican-Alliance's specific obligations or liabilities.
Eurafrican-Alliance will issue acknowledgments to donors who meet the tax requirements for property received as a gift from the charity. However, with the exception of gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value will be attributed to a gift received by the Eurafrican Alliance.
The Eurafrican Alliance will respect the donor's intent with respect to gifts for restricted purposes and intent to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the Eurafrican Alliance will limit information about the donor to those employees who have a need to know.
The Eurafrican Alliance will not compensate, through commissions, finder's fees or otherwise, any third party for the referral of a gift or donor to the Eurafrican Alliance.
